Eight young women entered for spots in the 2015 Rice County Fair queen court. Three of them earned the opportunity they were hoping for.

Breannca Bussert, 18, of Faribault was named the 2015 Rice County Fair Queen. Bussert was the 2014 first attendant. Her parents are William and Mary Bussert, and her sponsor is KDHL Radio.

The 2015 first attendant is Hannah Thompson, 17, of Morristown. Her parents are Renne Thompson and Jay Thompson. Her sponsor is Bob Taylor Construction.

Jane Ludwig, 17, of Lonsdale earned the second attendant spot. Her parents are Michael and Margaret Ludwig, and her sponsor is Freeway Fabricating.

The remaining candidates were: Kayla Ballstadt, 17, of Northfield; Michelle Hohrman, 18, of Northfield; Elizabeh Oys, 16, of Northfield; Natalea Trump, 19, of Morristown; and Rebecca Tutewohl, 17, of Faribault. The other candidates voted Tutewohl Miss Congeniality.
