On Tuesday I was at Pork Congress at the Minneapolis Convention Center in downtown Minneapolis. The weather forecast was calling for 1 to 3 inches of snow during the day but I was not really concerned. It's January in Minnesota and a couple inches of snow is not something to get really concerned about! Well, downtown Minneapolis received about 5 inches and Faribault around 10 inches!

I left the parking ramp next to the Minneapolis Convention Center at 4:00 Tuesday afternoon. I got back to the studio in Faribault at 7:30 pm. Yes, three and a half hours to drive from downtown Minneapolis to Faribault Tuesday late in the afternoon! Tuesday morning it took about one hour to drive from Faribault to the Minneapolis Convention Center.

In the picture is what I looked at for quite a while in downtown Minneapolis Tuesday afternoon, cars with break lights on! I learned a long time ago you just have to take the weather as it comes and deal with it the best you can. The weather forecast turned out to be wrong. That happens as the weather is very dynamic, conditions and storm paths can change quickly.
