According to the Weather Eye Weather Center we can expect double digit below zero temperatures Sunday night and Monday night before a warm up starts on Tuesday.

Many schools are off for the Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday and with the cold it may be harder to get some of the buses to get going on Tuesday.

A wind chill advisory is in effect until Noon on Monday. Dangerous wind chills in the 25-35 below range are expected Sunday afternoon and through Monday Morning.

Frostbite can occur in as little as 30 minutes to exposed skin. Take precautions to be safe in your vehicle if you should break down. Make sure you have things to keep you warm and a means of communication. Don't try to leave your vehicle if you get stranded.
