I went to the Rice County Historical Society's Fall Flea Market this morning on the grounds around their museum. On this beautiful sunny day, the turnout of vendors and patrons was very good. I wandered through the grounds looking at some interesting items and most were priced quite reasonably. The booths were selling everything from crafts to antiques to tools to games and more.

At one booth I spied a couple of small buckets filled with Hot Wheels cars and several other brands of die cast cars and trucks. Pawing my way through the the jumble of toy vehicles, I managed to find about a half a dozen Hot Wheels to add to my collection. This hobby was reawakened when I started buying Hot Wheels and tracks for my grandson.

After checking out several other vendors' wares I stumbled across a little slice of heaven, several tables filled with CDs and DVDs. This proved to be a popular booth as several other people were also vying for a spot around the tables to thumb their way through the hundreds of CDs. I spent about a half an hour perusing the diverse selection of music and came away with 10 CDs, and the vendor threw in a bonus CD for free. The total bill for all these discs was only $10. Satisfied that I had scored some small treasures this fine morning, I looked through a couple other booths and decided to head out. I can't wait until next spring when the Rice County Historical Society hosts their spring Flea Market.
