Hi! I’m Kelly! I have been part of the team since 2008 and have had a lot of fun in that time. Prior to that, I worked for a small town radio station and had a just for fun college radio show with friends. I’m a Faribault High School grad and hold a bachelors degree from the University of Minnesota Morris. When I’m not working, I love spending time with family and friends, walking my dog, checking out great local events, spending time outdoors, cheering for the Twins, and taking in as much live music as I can. Thanks for listening!

The Washington Post used information from the 2014 Census to determine the most popular road names in America. The report is a couple of years old, but given road names don't vary much, I thought it would be interesting to see if Faribault followed the national trend and was home to the top 10 road names.

The Food Safety Life Hack You Need
I was recently having coffee with a friend when she mentioned that she was a bit leery about some of the items in her freezer because she wasn't sure if they had thawed at any time. It was at this point that I told her about an idea I had seen on the web. Now typically, I take anything I read on the internet claiming to be a brilliant idea, or the best hack ever, with a healthy dose of skepticism

Check out this week’s Pet of the Week and then check back next week to see a new furry friend looking for a fur-ever home.

It's Music Monday! Each and every week, I share something that I am currently listening to and think that you might also enjoy checking out. Cinderella’s Closet at Hope Opens Saturday
For young women and men in high school, prom is a special event. It is something that they look forward to all year, make plans and once the evening itself has passed, they will have the memories for years to come. But prom is expensive, and for some families, the cost can be a huge obstacle to attending. In 2013, Cinderella’s Closet at Hope was created to provide formal wear to students who might
