The Faribault Bethlehem Academy Cardinals, Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights and Eagan Wildcats still topped the Minnesota Volleyball Coaches Association rankings in the latest polls released Monday.

In Class A, Bethlehem Academy received 13 of the 14 first-place votes, with second-ranked Mayer Lutheran awarded the other first-place vote. Defending state champion Waterville-Elysian-Morristown moved up a notch to sixth.

Three teams in the Cardinals' section are ranked. Caledonia is fifth and the only team to defeat Kenyon-Wanamingo this season. Mabel-Canton is eighth and has the most wins of any team in the Class A poll with 30. Hayfield is ninth and was the only team during the Hiawtha Valley League regular season to win a set against Kenyon-Wanamingo.

In Class 2A, Kenyon-Wanamingo got all 11 of the first-place votes and opens their playoffs at home Thursday against Waseca in Section 2 Class 2A. Defending state champion Belle Plaine is in the same section and rated No. 4 in the state and defeated Bethlehem Academy in Saturday's Chaska Tournament.

Rated teams in Section 1 Class 2A are Stewartville at fifth and Kasson-Mantorville at ninth.

In Class 3A, Eagan has been on top all year, but after losing to second-ranked Champlin Park in the Chaska Tournament, they didn't receive all of the 15 first-place votes. The Wildcats garnered 10 votes, Champlin Park and third-rated Lakeville South each got two votes, and fourth-ranked Hopkins received one first-place vote. Lakeville North is ninth.
