Biodiesel Semi Race at Elko Speedway

The Minnesota Soybean Research and Promotion Council will be sponsoring Biodiesel semi races at the Elko Speedway in Elko on Saturday August 25, 2018. The green flag drops at 7:00 pm. I did not even know there was semi races but it is called the Bandit Big Rig Series. There will be activities and things going on all day at the Elko Speedway.

The Minnesota Soybean Research and Promotion Council Fan Series Truck Show will be all day long. The Bandit Meet and Greet will be from 4:00 to 6:00 pm plus there will be local vendors there. You can get advance tickets at bandidseries.com or at the gate on race day.

It sounds like a fun time and a great way to promote Biodiesel. Remember since last spring all diesel fuel in Minnesota is blended with 20 percent Biodiesel mainly made from soybeans. Then this fall the Biodiesel blend will drop back to the 5 percent winter blend.
