Bowling

This weekend I have plans to meet up with some friends and go bowling. I don't go very often, and I'm not very skilled, but it's always fun to get together with friends and do something different.

Last time I went bowling, I did not even break the 110 point mark! I tried to convince the group that we were playing it with golf rules and that the lowest score won. They did not approve of this scoring system, and continued to celebrate as they got spares and strikes. I always seem to pick a ball that has a gravitational pull towards the gutter, or at least that is what I tell myself as the ball makes its predictable journey to the side. Certainly it is a defect with the ball, and not my lack of skill that results in low scores! At the end of the day, it never seems to matter who won or lost though, it's about having a fun evening with friends.
