The Buckham Center Hometown Holidays has become a community favorite, and is scheduled to take place Monday, December 5, with something for everyone!

It is hard to believe that we are already into December. It feels like time is flying by, but having enjoyed Small Business Saturday, visited Santa downtown, watched the horse-drawn wagon rides, and viewed all of the merchant windows in downtown Faribault during the annual window decorating contest, there is no denying that we are well into the holiday season. That also means it is time for another area favorite tradition, the Hometown Holidays Celebration at the Buckham Center!

Local musician Mike Hildebrandt and friends will be entertaining audiences in the library from 5:30-7PM this Monday, December 5. Additionally, the library will be showing the movie Elf, which is suitable for families.

Arts and crafts, snacks, plus the singing of carols and the fun of a bounce house can all be found at the community center from 5:30-7:30PM

Not to be left out of the fun, everyone's favorite man in red, Santa, makes his grand appearance at the Buckham Center on a firetruck around 5:30PM and then goes to the Senior Center, where he will be available for free photos until 7PM.
