On Friday, June 10, Buckham Memorial Library in Faribault will be hosting an event with the International Owl Center. There will be two times to learn more about owls, the first at 10:30AM and the second at 1:30PM.

The presentation at Buckham Memorial Center will be family friendly and the afternoon program will be ASL interpreted. During the two programs, participants will have the chance to learn about owls, the environment and more. Additionally, the International Owl Center will be bring a real live owl with them!

The International Owl Center is located along the Root River Trail in the Southeastern Minnesota community of Houston, and serves to advance the survival of owl populations in the wild. With a focus on education and research, the International Owl Center is the only such facility in North America. Each year, the International Owl Center hosts the International Festival of Owls in the spring, drawing in people from every corner of the United States.
