Staying warm and safe during the winter, especially these next few days, is something everyone is thinking about.  But what about those who don't have a place to go, especially in the rural areas?  A new warming center is opening in Kasson to help.

Becky in Kasson, MN shared on Becky's Community Closet Facebook page that she "was floored by the number of people in our area who don't have friends, family or a warm local place to be when they don't have heat.".  She decided to make a change and do something to help.

Becky's Community Closet in Kasson, MN has opened as a warming center for those in the area that are in need of a warm place to go.  Day or night, the store will be opened to help those who need it to provide a temporary place that is judgment-free while Minnesota experiences this deep freeze.

Share with those you might know who need a safe and warm place to go.

Know someone in SE Minnesota that needs a place to go?  The Salvation Army in Rochester is also open and more information about that warming center can be found here.
