To kick off your first weekend in March here are a few recommendations for things to do in Southern Minnesota this weekend!

The Knights of Columbus Lenten Benefit Fish Dinner

If you're looking for some delicious food, today 5-7PM at the KC Hall in Owatonna there will be an all you can eat fish dinner. It is $11 at the door and children under 6 eat for free! Dinner will include baked and fried fish, whipped potatoes served with country gravy, vegetables, rolls, coleslaw, coffee, and milk. 

The Hometown Sampler Concert Series!

The first concert is tonight at 7PM with more performances on Saturday at 3PM and 7PM and also Sunday at 2PM. This concert kicks off Minnesota FoodShare Month, where various community organizations, businesses, and faith communities come together and help restock nearly 300 food shelves across the state.

Faribault Winter Farmers Market

Head over to the Paradise Center for the Arts from 1-4PM on Saturday  to check out new vendors at the continuation of this winter’s Faribault Farmers Market. It will also be open again on April 7th.

Six Appeal A Cappella Group

If you’re ok with a short commute and are looking for a date night idea, go check out Six Appeal in Rochester! They’re an a cappella group and will be performing at the Mayo Civic Center Presentation Hall on Saturday at 7:30PM. Tickets are $23. Not only are they a vocals only band but they’re also a comedy act. They will be performing classic oldies, current chart toppers, and catchy originals.
