Every year, for the past few years, I've had the privilege of attending the annual Kenyon-Wanamingo High School Winter Concert. While I'm there, I record this holiday music-filled event to later be broadcast on our sister station 920 AM KDHL at 5PM on Christmas day. I look forward to being able to attend this wonderful show each year, which is filled with a variety of Christmas music performed brilliantly by the Kenyon-Wanamingo Band, Varsity Choir, Kenyon-Wanamingo Chorale, and a huge finale that features both choirs combined along with any alumni who wishes to join in. It's an enjoyable ending to a holiday music-filled evening.

This year I decided to make a night of it, so my wife and I drove over before the show and enjoyed a pleasant dinner in downtown Kenyon, followed by a tour of Christmas lights on their main thoroughfare into town, Gunderson Boulevard. There were several festive houses brilliantly lit up along this main street into to town, as well as several beautifully lit houses on the way to the high school. All in all, my wife and I had really nice time and look forward to next year's show.
