Paul Kluge of Northfield is a Civil War historian and will be the guest on today's AM MInnesota program.  Next week, Kluge speaks at the Faribault Senior Center about the Battle of Manassas in Virginia on Thursday at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Kluge is a retired Marine and served in the Vietnam War during the Tet offensive. He moved to Northfield recently so he would be closer to the Cannon City Civil War Roundtable, which he has grown to love. Be educated about our past and tune in 9:30 a.m. Below is the RCHS Battle Flag Carried by Company C, 6th Minnesota Volunteer Infantry. More than 600 men from Rice County were in the unit. The RCHS says the flag was made in the winter of 1863 by ladies in Fairmont, Minn., while Company C was stationed there.
