Construction Zone Accident Near Faribault
The State Patrol reports a three vehicle accident in a construction zone on I-35 North near Milepost 60 in Rice County. The Saturday afternoon accident resulted in non-life threatening injuries to one party.
Just before 5:30PM a north bound vehicle operating by 22 year old Jamie Graham of Faribault struck a vehicle operated by 46 year old Abel Gebreselassie of Eagan. Prior to impact a vehicle operated by 28 year old Mustafe Hassan of Burnsville had been between the two above vehicles but had entered the ditch when coming upon the stopped traffic.The impact propelled Gebreselassie's vehicle into the left lane striking Hassan's vehicle.
The only injury reported in the accident was to Graham who was transported to District One Hospital.
