I've never even heard of it being called a 'Midwest Martini' or 'Beertini' until one of my friends had asked me about it today. According to ...Buzzfeed.com...the 'Midwest Martini/Beertini' is Minnesota's most iconic drink. Are you guilty of ordering one and not even knowing it?

So what is a 'Midwest Martini'/Beertini? Well, it's a Michelob Golden Light (or any kind of light domestic beer) with olives. That seems right, I see it all the time when I go out. Sometimes people get extra fancy and throw a pickle in there too. But do people actually call it a 'beertini'?

I thought you just said, "I'll have a Bud Light with Olives". Am I wrong?

Our neighbors to the south have Busch Light as their iconic drink, Wisconsin is the Brandy Old Fashioned, and our friends from the Dakotas claim Busch Light to the North and Red Beer in South Dakota.
