The Paradise Center for the Arts in downtown Faribault is hosting a fun, fun show next Friday, April 7. If you like the vibe and feel of Prairie Home Companion, you're going to enjoy The Banjo Hour with Captain Gravitone and the String Theory Orchestra. Paradise Center for the Arts executive director Kristen Twitchell describes this show as "this is like a 'Prairie Home Companion' bluegrass show on steroids."

According to their website, "Captain Gravitone & the String Theory Orchestra is a Minnesota-based sextet. The group performs original roots music, influenced by jazz, Gypsy, tango, Irish, folk, blues, bluegrass & rock." This evening also features bluegrass legend Dick Kimmel, Banjo Time with Tom Nechville and comedian Michael Callahan.
