The Dakota County Fair is underway now through Aug. 14 in Farmington with a lot of fun for the whole family! Held since 1858, you can’t miss this event.

Grandstand action kicked off on Monday with the Dairyland Donkey Ball, and Tuesday brought Championship Pull Series. Tonight is the Midwest Monster Motorsports in the grandstand. Thursday is the MN Classic Demolition Derby, and Friday and Saturday, the grandstand plays host to Demo Derby events.

In the beer gardens, Them Pesky Kids entertained the audience on Tuesday night. Tonight is Farm Rock and on Thursday crowds will enjoy the Johnny Holm Band. Lost Highway hits the stage Friday and Good for Gary rounds out the week on Saturday.

Additionally, there is a carnival, talent concert, native pride dancers, a tractor parade, and a lumberjack show.
