End 2016 on a Good Note With Power 96

Tonight we say goodbye to 2016 and welcome the promise of a brand new year. No matter what your plans are, please make sure to make Power 96 a part of your evening.

Power 96 is wrapping up 2016 with three encore radio specials from the past year. At 9:30PM we kick off your New Year’s Eve with the "The Band: The 40^th Anniversary of The Last Waltz," followed by "Phil Collins: The Singles" and finish off 2016 with "Led Zeppelin: The BBC Sessions."

Rhino has produced an hour-long radio special in support of the 40^th anniversary of The Band’s The Last Waltz, which was re-released on November 11^th. This exclusive special contains such classics as “Up on Cripple Creek,” “The Shape I’m In” and many others interspersed with interviews with Robbie Robertson, Eric Clapton, Levon Helm and Bob Dylan. The Band’s The Last Waltz documents the Band's "farewell" concert which took place at Bill Graham's Winterland Ballroom on Thanksgiving Day in 1976.

Phil Collins: The Singles - All Access Radio Special is an hour-long radio special in support of the recent release of Phil Collins: The Singles, and features such classics as “In the Air Tonight,” “Take Me Home,” “Another Day in Paradise,” “Easy Lover” and “Don’t Lose My Number” along with a brand new interview with Phil Collins.

The Led Zeppelin: BBC Sessions is packed with classic tracks such as “Communication Breakdown,” “Dazed and Confused,” “Whole Lotta Love,” “Heartbreaker” and “Stairway to Heaven” and an interview with Jimmy Page, as well as quotes from Robert Plant and John Paul Jones.
