Hopefully everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and/or friends. I know I did and, like every year, I ate way too much. Maybe you scored some really nice gifts on Black Friday if you were brave enough to venture out into the chaos. I picked up a few things but there's still a long list of presents I need to get. Good thing that Small Business Saturday is going on today. I can shop locally and save money on some unique gift giving ideas and a lot of the area towns have some family friendly events going on.

Once you're done shopping today and you've enjoyed a nice supper why not settle in for any evening of Christmas music. Tonight (11/26) at 8PM, Power 96 presents the Chop Shop's Trans-Siberian Christmas. Hosted by Steve Black, this two-hour special takes listeners behind the scenes of the past 20 years with Trans-Siberian Orchestra. You'll enjoy many favorites like Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24, This Christmas Day, Music Box Blues, Wizards in Winter, Christmas Jam, Nutrocker and more, along with interviews with Trans-Siberian Orchestra members and artists that have been involved with band over the years.

Don't forget to register for a chance to ring in the New Year with Trans-Siberian Orchestra in Seattle. The winner gets two front row tickets to their Dec 31 concert at the Key Arena in Seattle. We’ll fly you out there with roundtrip airfare for two and put you up for two nights in a hotel, pick you up on New Year's Eve at the hotel, and drop you off at the backstage entrance of Key Arena for a TSO meet 'n' greet before show along with personal transportation at the grounds of Space Needle (just outside arena), for a New Year's Eve fireworks display, and return you to the hotel. Plus we’ll throw in an autographed guitar, a $500 gift card for a personal day of shopping and sight-seeing and $500 spending cash! The contest ends tomorrow, so sign up today to get in on this fantastic getaway.
