Join River Bend Nature Center for a night of artistry and good company at Cork and Canvas on the Prairie on Wednesday, June 3, from 5-7:30PM. Upper East Side Gallery on the Go artist Suzanne Fchwichtenberg will instruct participants on how to create their own painting of the scenic view of River Bend Nature Center’s prairie. The painting will be of a blue bird house, with a blue bird, surrounded by prairie flowers. Fchwichtenberg will lead students on how to create the general structure of their painting, but they are welcome to add their own flair. Participants should bring a beverage to share.
Lifelong Learning is an ongoing series of classes for seniors with the goal of learning about nature while in nature, see River Bend’s website for other Lifelong Learning class topics. This program is open to seniors.
