Additional Information

Faribault girls’ tennis coach Darren Iverson will be attempting to break the Guinness World Record for consecutive singles matches played from 6 a.m. Friday, May 29 until sometime Sunday, May 31. The attempt will be made in conjunction with a “Tennis Block Party” event at the Faribault High School from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, May 30. The block party -- open to all ages -- will have games, food, prizes and a free tennis lesson. In organizing these events, Faribault tennis hopes to publicize summer tennis-playing options for new and experienced players and raise money for facility upgrades and equipment.

Anyone interested in being an opponent during the record attempt should contact Darren Iverson via email at falconstennis@gmail.com

Donations can be made at the events, or at www.gofundme.com (search Faribault tennis).
