All of the Faribault Falcon swimmers and divers participating in the state meet this weekend at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center were in the top eight after preliminary action and will swim in the finals on Saturday.

Divers Austin Ferris (12) and Sam Steinberg (10) were in second and sixth place respectively after the semis. Paul Sadergaski (10) was third in the 100-yard butterfly and third in the 200-yard individual medley. David Sadergaski (12) was seventh in the 100-yard butterfly. Brady Bresnahan (12) was sixth in the 50 free and sixth in the 100 freestyle. The 400 free relay team of Paul and David Sadergaski, Adam Rechtzigel (9) and Brady Bresnahan was third, and the 200 free relay team with the same members was fourth.

Nicholas Pelletier (12) of Northfield was 10 in the 100 backstroke. Senior Humphrey Pruett broke the all-time and Class A state record with a 54.75 time in the 100-yard breaststroke during preliminaries. He's from Breck Blake. The Class A finals begin noon Saturday in Minneapolis. The Class AA are at 6 p.m.
