Faribault Area Senior Center Director Mona Kaiser stops by our KDHL Studio for AM Minnesota at 9:30 this morning.

We will get an update on the construction for the expansion of the facility in downtown Faribault.

Met-Con Of Faribault is the contractor for the project and a number of local companies are contributing some of the materials for the building.

For example Sage is providing some glass and Daiken donated commercial grade air conditioning units for the expansion.

Earlier this week when Faribault Parks and Recreation Director Paul Penansky was on the program he stated they were waiting for steel to be shipped to the site.

The steel is here has you can see in the pictures below.

One of the pictures is taken from the west which will be where the new front entrance will be located and the other picture is taken facing the current front entrance on the north side of the building facing Division Street.

If you can't listen at 9:30 a.m. please go to our YouTube channel and watch the program at your leisure.
