Faribault Chamber President on AM Minnesota 8-5-2015

Faribault Chamber President Kymn Anderson stops by and we have a lot of events in town to cover.

This Friday the Rice County Relay For Life is on the Rice County Fairgrounds, Saturday there is the Hospice Ride at Faribault Harley Davidson and the seventh annual Blue Collar Ribs and Arts Festival. Carv-Fest is this weekend at the Faribault Ice Arena and Bethlehem Academy is having an all-school reunion to celebrate their 150th year of educating youth.

Next weekend the Faribault Woolen Mill has a big bash to recognize its 150th year of production. The event takes place in Slevin Park next to the mill.

By the way, Shattuck School in Faribault is 157 years old this year. The oldest church in Rice County is the Congregational Church in Faribault, which is 148 years old, and the Cathedral of Our Merciful Saviour is 146 years old.
