Fourth Avenue United Methodist Church in Faribault is hosting a Community Christmas Dinner this Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Tom Hartman will stop by the KDHL Studio to give us details about the event at 9:30 this morning.

Fourth Avenue United Methodist Church has been hosting the event for a number of years and is located at 219 NW 4th Street in Faribault.

Everyone is invited to attend the church service at 9:00 a.m. but attendance is not required to participate in the dinner.

Organizers wanted us to emphasize that everyone is welcome.

The meal is always delicious and one of the main reasons the event is held is to provide fellowship for people during the Christmas season.

A free will offering will be accepted but there is no charge for the meal.

Hartman worked for KDHL a number of years.

At one time he was the Station Manager.

In 2018 KDHL celebrates it's 70th year serving the Faribault area with local news, local sports and local happenings.

In January of 1948 the legendary voice of Dean Curtis was the first voice heard on the KDHL airwaves.
