In case you haven't heard, Faribault is going to be home to a new craft distillery called 10,000 Drops! They actually will be one of the locations hosting the Faribault Flannel Formal coming up this Saturday.

This past week 10,000 Drops has started production of their first Craft Spirits. Not only that, but they also launched a crowd-funding campaign on gofundme to help them purchase and fill their first 100 barrels. If you're interested you can check out their campaign here.

So how did these people decide to start a craft distillery? According to their website, this has been a dream of theirs for a while. The four friends went to high school together, went their own ways, and eventually, in March 2014, they "met up for drinks and started talking about going into business for themselves." They are dedicated to distilling and aging "the highest quality Whiskeys and Rums."

I am very excited for them to open! Who else is planning on checking out 10,000 Drops?
