Playing an instrument can be a wonderful experience. In addition to learning how to read music and play the actual instrument, you also lean focus and dedication, how to work within a larger group, and you meet new people and create lasting memories. I spent many years in band, and it was a great experience. Throughout my time in band, I was able to travel, meet some amazing people who I still call friends, and make countless memories.
