Faribault Hospital Auxiliary Fundraiser Details on AM Minnesota

The District One Hospital Auxilian Advocates for Health is having their annual fundraiser holiday sale.

We will get details from Auxiliary members Pat Rice and Bobbi Sumner on AM Minnesota at 9:30 a.m.

Auxilian Advocates for Health
The mission of the auxiliary is to raise funds and share talents to address health needs in the Faribault community and further the mission of District One Hospital.
The auxiliary raises funds for non-budgeted, health-related items through a variety of activities. The donation list for 2017 includes:
Hospital donations
furnishings for new Emergency Department
device charging stations
reclining chairs for overnight guests
televisions
infusion chair
rocking chair and equipment for the Birth Center
scale for Surgical Services
pediatric gifts and toys
head wraps for patients receiving chemotherapy
Community support
medical prescription assistance program
Jan Wegner Nursing Scholarship fund for hospital nurses seeking additional nursing education
hardship program for patients with non-medical needs
Membership in the auxiliary is open to any community member seeking to support the auxiliary mission and wishing to give their time. Annual membership is $20 per year. Lifetime membership is $75. Hospital, auxiliary and hospice volunteers who donate twenty or more hours within a year earn an auxiliary membership for the following year.
