Faribault Mayor Candidates on AM Minnesota

The two candidates hoping to become Faribault's next mayor will guests on today's KDHL AM Minnesota program at 9:30AM.

Janna Viscomi and Kevin Voracek are currently members of the Faribault City Council.

Obviously one of these candidates will become the new Faribault mayor after the election and that will mean an open seat on the City Council. The City Charter has the newly seated council appointing someone to fill out the remaining term of that seat. That appointee is asked not to run for the seat in the next election as part of their appointment.
