Faribault Parks and Recreation Director is on AM Minnesota 5-18-2015

Faribault Parks and Recreation Director Paul Penansky stops by KDHL to discuss all things recreational in Faribault.

The Faribault Aquatic Center will be opening soon and we'll discuss what changes if any will be seen there. Penansky tells us they begin filling the pool this week and he's hoping for a good weather season, which they haven't had in a few years.

We'll touch on the Concerts in the Park series. I'm sure concert organizer Joel Raaen will be with us soon to give us more details.

Some Faribault residents have requested the city place handicapped accessibility at Bell Field. We'll ask the Parks and Recreation director about the possibility of seeing that soon.
