Faribault Parks and Recreation Director Paul Penansky stops by the KDHL Studio to talk about their winter programming to keep us fit.

Faribault-area residents should have received a Buckham Bulletin, which has won a number of awards over the years. We will go over some of the information included in the bulletin.

For a current monthly schedule of activities you can always go to www.Faribault.org/parks. Just a couple of examples of some of the activities you can take part in are ballroom dance lessons February 5, 12 and 19. Vic Albrecht is a veteran dance instructor who teaches a wide variety of lessons across the state.

There is a racquetball tournament February 11 and 12 at the Faribault Recreation Center. Singles on Saturday and doubles on Sunday. Cost is $30 for singles and $40 for a doubles team. Included will be a t-shirt. There will be upper and lower divisions in the double elimination tournament. A payout goes to the charity of the player's choice for first through third place. Preregistration is required for the racquetball tournament.

I hope you can tune in at 9:30AM and get more information from Paul. If that time doesn't work, the program will be available online at www.youtube.com/user/KDHLRadio
