The Faribault Police Department issued a news release today saying on Tuesday, August 21 in the early morning hours they received a report of thefts from several vehicles.  The thefts all took place in the 100 block of 6th Avenue Northwest.

Sergeant Matt Long says at this time known missing items from multiple vehicles include a Springfield XDM 9mm handgun, Springfield XD .40 caliber handgun, Kahr Arms CM9 9mm handgun, two Allen Kraken XLA Fly Reels, one Echo Ion Fly Reel, a generic spinning wheel and  rod, numerous lines of tackle and fly lines, a green and yellow Northface backpack and a Garmin GPS device.

The Faribault Police Department is looking for any information that may help lead to the recovery of the stolen items.  You are asked to contact Faribault Police at 507-334-4305 if you feel as if you have any information that might help in this investigation.  Sergeant Long says due to the public safety factor, a reward is being offered for information that leads to the recovery of the firearms.
