Superintendent Todd Sesker will give us an update on preparations for the upcoming school year.

You might recall the Faribault schools are implementing a 1:1 technology initiative they are calling the FLITE plan.  FLITE stands for Falcon Learning by Integrating Technology Everywhere.  We will find out how the plan is progressing.

In the 2015 U.S. News Best High Schools rankings Faribault Senior High School was one of 175 awarded bronze medal status.  Minnesota had one gold medal school and five silver medal schools.

The top ranked school was Great River School in St. Paul and those earning silver medals were South St. Paul, Patrick Henry of Minneapolis, Minnetonka, Fridley Senior High and Champlin Park Senior High.

Other schools receiving national bronze medals in the KDHL listening area included Albert Lea, Alden-Conger, Apple Valley, Rochester Century, Eagan, Eastview of Apple Valley, Rochester John Marshall, Mankato West, Northfield, Pine Island, Rosemount, United South Central and Waseca.
