Faribault Restaurant Smoqehouse To Close Friday August 31

Yesterday marked a sad day for foodies in Faribault. Posted to it's Facebook page the restaurant Smoqehouse announced its last day open would be Friday, August 31st. 

The restaurant which is run by Andy and Heidi Kubes is a fast casual BBQ fusion restaurant featuring artfully crafted sandwiches, salads, and soups. Their website states that all ingredients are locally sourced and made fresh daily.

The restaurant which is located inside the Faribo West Mall stated in the post that after 2.5 years "we just can not afford to keep the shop open any longer. We are continuing to keep our eyes and ears open for future relocation options but at this time, we do not have anything locked in."

Fans of the restaurant are being asked to stop by this week from 11-3 to enjoy some of our most requested specials.

Smoqehouse has two other locations one in Northfield, and another in Bradenton Beach, Florida according to its website.
