Although its December, we haven't had the back-breaking amounts of snow shoveling this year that other winters have brought. Despite its short-lived presence, the snowfall the area did have was enjoyed by many, and the infamous giant snowman has made his return!

While some people lamented the fresh layer of fallen snow, and others hid in their homes to avoid the slick roads, many kids and adults alike were ready to shake off the cabin fever and happy to see the first visible signs of a real Minnesota winter. For the past few years, this home has been host to a giant snowman, each year a little different, but always the biggest snowman in town. I wonder just how long he'll last with this week's temperatures.

Last year, just a few blocks away was another snow creation of two Minions holding a heart, and the creators had even colored the snow. I'm looking forward to seeing what other fun snow creations pop up around town this year.
