Faribault Falcon sophomore Abby Larson achieved All-State status. Northfield and Red Wing were the highest finishing Big Nine Conference teams at the Minnesota High School Girls Class A State Swim Meet.   Visitation of Mendota Heights captured their sixth consecutive state title with 319.5 points.  Hutchinson finished second with 272.  The Blazers now have 10 state titles.  Breck School of Golden Valley was third with 234 points.

To show you how depth is key, Visitation did not win a single event at the meet but placed second in four events.  Larson was All-State in the 500 Freestyle with a 6th place finish.  The Falcon was also 9th in the 200 Free.  Classmate Verity Wray-Raabolle finished 15th in the 100 yard Backstroke.  The two Faribault swimmers combined for 24 points placing the Falcons 23rd at the state meet.

The Northfield Raiders were 14th in Class A with 42 points tied with Red Wing, Mankato East 17th with 39 points, Mankato West 20th with 36 points, Winona 27th with 16 points and Albert Lea 35th with 6 points.

The Raiders 400 Yard Freestyle Relay finished 9th.  The all-junior relay consisted of Signe Hauck, Tatum Hauck, Ella Palmquist and Alice Zhang.

The Northfield 200 Medley Relay was 11th.  Hauck, Zhang and Palmquist were joined by 8th grade student Ella Anderson.  The 200 Yard Freestyle Relay of Signe Hauck, Palmquist, junior Caroline Peterson and freshman Anna Scheglowski finished 13th

Raider junior Tatum Hauck finished 16th in the 200 Yard Freestyle.  Twin sister Signe was 16th in the 100 Yard Freestyle.  Junior Chloe Mellgren captured 15th place in the 500 Yard Freestyle.

The Big Nine Conference had 19 relay teams or individuals place in the meet.
