A Farmington man convicted of criminal vehicular homicide for killing three brothers in a 2004 drunken driving crash pleaded guilty this week to two more felony counts of driving while intoxicated.

According to the Associated Press, 33-year-old Boe Barlage was arrested in Lakeville on May 14 while driving drunk. He faces a Nov. 12 court date in Dakota County District Court and faces three to seven years in prison.

He was previously in prison for 5.5 years for crashing into a vehicle while intoxicated and looking at his cell phone. Killed in the crash were 20-year-old Matthew Backstrom and his brothers Jacob, 17, and Justin, 16.

Barlage had a 0.15 blood-alcohol level at that time. Minnesota's legal limit is 0.08. His criminal history also includes three convictions between 2000 and 2001 for consuming and possessing alcohol as a minor. He is free on bail.
