Last night was the last of this summers downtown Faribault Car Cruises. It didn't disappoint. People were lining up to get into the Faribault Harley-Davidson and see the cars, and some motorcycles.

Growing up my dad had a 1970 K5 Chevy Blazer. It wasn't up to 'modern' standards with airbags or seatbelts that go over your shoulder but it was so much fun to ride around with the top off. Being at the show last night brought back some great memories of those summers towing the boat to Hastings to cruise the Mississippi or St. Croix rivers and just relaxing.

Last night there were cars from the 50's and 60's along with newer classics like the redesigned Dodge Challenger. Not only could you take in the chrome, but you could hang out with a beer and a burger too. Here are a few of my favorites from last night!

Car Cruise

The weather forecast is still looking like we will still be seeing some of these classic cars out and about for the next few weeks. What did you think about this years slate of car cruise nights downtown?

The event was organized by Faribault Main Street. This event began in 2011 and is promoted through Faribault’s historic main street organization. If you’re interested in learning more about Car Cruise Nights or any other summer activities, you can visit www.visitfaribault.com for details.
