One adult male and three juvenile males are in custody after a stabbing in Steele County early Friday. The injured man suffered apparent non-life threatening injuries.

Steele County Sheriff's deputies were called to a rural residence in Steele County west of the city of Owatonna around 3AM on Friday July 10. The 911 caller reported that an injured person had come to their home, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.

Responding officers along with assistance from the Owatonna Police Department found the victim to have been repeatedly stabbed. He was airlifted to a hospital with a trauma center. By Friday afternoon he was in stable condition and his injuries were not believed to be life threatening.

The investigation revealed four suspects who were all apprehended in Owatonna by police and sheriff's deputies. One adult male and three juvenile males are expected to be held over the weekend with a likely court appearance Monday July 13 in Steele County District Court. The county attorney's office is reviewing charges and an investigation continues.

The sheriff's office believes all involved in the stabbing have been arrested and there does not appear to be a public safety threat. The press release from the sheriff's office did not identify the victim or the suspects.
