Get inspired by attending a free showing of "Lost in Woonsocket" this evening at the Paradise Center for the Arts in downtown Faribault. This documentary feature film follows a group of filmakers conducting a humanitarian experiment for the A&E Network called Random 1. Even though their series was abruptly canceled after only one season, they continued filming their efforts in helping two homeless alcoholics living together in the woods outside of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, get their lives back together. The film also examines the personal high people get from helping each out, the never-ending struggle against addiction and the hope that compassion still exists in our society.

To sum it up, "Lost in Woonsocket" is filmmaker John Chester’s attempt at a moving documentary about addiction, recovery and redemption. This movie is presented courtesy of Faribault Park and Rec, Rice County Health Coalition and the Paradise Center for the Arts and starts at 7PM.
