If you were a big fan of Austin, Minnesota's Gear Daddies, you'll be excited to find out that their frontman, Martin Zellar, will be performing this Friday night at the Paradise Center of the Arts in downtown Faribault. As part of the Gear Daddies, he enjoyed regional and national success with three studio albums and one EP released between 1988 and 1992. Most of the songs for these records were written by Zellar. Although the band broke up in 1992 and Zellar went on to form Martin Zellar and the Hardways with former Gear Daddies bassist Nick Ciola, the group has continued to get together to perform reunion shows throughout the years.

Recently we offered our Power 96 VIP members a chance to win a four-pack of tickets to see Martin Zellar. Our webmistress drew Sharin Sambataro of Morristown as our lucky winner and she'll enjoy the show with three other friends this Friday night.

Listen between 6-9AM Wednesday and Thursday morning (Feb. 22 and 23) for your chance to win tickets to see this Friday's 7:30PM performance of an Evening with Martin Zellar acoustic show, featuring his amazing guitar picking, and country-rock sound at the Paradise Center for the Arts from the Power 96 Morning Show.
