It was as you expect in a Waterville-Elysian-Morristown, Bethlehem Academy match-up on Friday night. It was close for the first few minutes but then the Buccaneers busted things open and lead BA 35-18 at the half. Missed shots and turnovers continue to plague the Cardinals in the second half, and the Buccaneers were out to a 30-point lead at one point. Waterville put some of their younger players in and the Cardinals were able to get some shots to drop, but WEM won 62-46.

WEM was lead by Zac Olson with 22 points and two three-pointers, and Kallen Dorenkemper with 11 points. The Cardinals had 12 points from Brendan Trump and 10 from Alex Bongers to lead the scoring. Bongers was the State Farm Insurance Agents of Faribault, player of the game.

Bethlehem Academy is 3-6 and is off until Dec. 29. The Bucs face Tri City United at home on Monday and then play in a tournament in Faribault on Dec. 29 and 30.
