KDHL first hit the airwaves in 1948 and has become known since then as a source for reliable news and information and sports, music, and things of local interest. And since 1987, Gordy Kosfeld has been a trusted voice throughout southern Minnesota.

Having gone to school for broadcasting, Gordy started at KDHL June 1, 1987. This summer marks 30 years for Gordy with the Mighty 920. During that time he has often been seen emceeing events, announcing parades, doing sports play-by-play, supporting local organizations, and reporting on various news stories. He's also become entrenched in the community and in addition to being able to celebrate 30 years of hard work, Gordy has also recently received the 2017 Lifetime Achievement Award. KDHL and our town are lucky to have someone so dedicated to their profession, and to helping the community!

Next time you see Gordy, make sure to congratulate him on being recognized with the Lifetime Achievement Award and his 30-year anniversary with KDHL. Congrats Gordy!
