The other night I finally got a chance to grill some ribeye steaks on the Dakota Grill. When I say "finally got a chance," I mean I could finally afford to buy them. This was the perfect test for this premium electric, as my wife and I both enjoy our steaks medium well that tend to be more on the well done side than on the medium, which usually leaves the meat very dry. After preparing the steaks with some seasoning and properly setting the correct grill and probe temperature, I placed the steaks on the grill, closed the cover and waited for the digital temperature controls to let me know when they were done. It took about a half an hour, I flipped them over and let them cook for another five minutes before taking them out.

They turned out great. Perfectly cooked all the way through but still very succulent and juicy and easy to cut. My wife also made mashed red potatoes and brussels sprouts with bacon bits and chunks of blue cheese sprinkled lightly on top.
