Happy Memorial Day!

Despite the fact that today's weather might dampen some of our outdoor plans, let's not forget that today was set aside to honor the memories of those brave military men & women who have fought for this country & died, those who have served in the past and those who still serve to protect us. In Faribault there will be a flag raising ceremony in front of the Rice County Courthouse at 9AM, followed by the Rice County Central Veterans Association Memorial Day parade, downtown at 10AM. After the parade, head to Central Park, at 11:30AM honored veterans will speak followed by a wreath-placing ceremony performed by the Post 43 Auxiliary and a performance by the Faribault High School & Bethlehem Academy bands.
