Looks like we're starting off 2017 with some chilly January weather, but that's OK because the Paradise Center for the Arts will be heating things up this Saturday night with the classic rock sounds of the Murphy Brothers Band. According to their website, MurphyBrothersBand.com, this guitar-driven band will take the stage at 7:30PM for an evening of "high energy guitar rock that will keep you up, moving and coming back for more."

This is a well-seasoned band, with its roots in the mid-'60s, when the leader of the group Steve Murphy, was in a band called The Epicureans, which later evolved into the Highway in the early '70s, finally arriving at the Murphy Brothers Band when Steve and his brother Mike started became a duo before adding more musicians to the group. If you take a look at their website you can follow the group's journey through time under their "History" subcategory.

If you're looking for a fun way to spend this Saturday night, make sure you listen to win tickets to the Murphy Brothers Band the rest of the week between 6-9AM from the Power 96 Morning Show. If you don't win you can go to ParadiseCenterForTheArts.org for more info and tickets.
