Are you looking to take a break from winter? Get a bunch of friends together and heat up this weekend with the January Thaw, 7:30PM this Saturday, January 28, at the Paradise Center for the Arts in downtown Faribault. Get ready to swing with the big band sounds of Buddy Koopmans Orchestra, with 16 live musicians along with live swing dancers. They'll be throwing down that familiar big band music that’ll get you out on the dance floor for a night of fun.

Before the show get to know the new Paradise Center for the Arts Executive Director, Kristen Twitchell, at a meet-and-greet and kick-off their 10 year anniversary from 6-7PM with light refreshments. This part of the evening is free and open to the public and then free swing dance lessons for January Thaw attendees from 7-7:30PM.

Tickets are $15 for members, $20 for nonmembers, $10 for students and are available at the Box Office at 321 Central Ave., downtown Faribault, open noon-5PM Tuesday-Saturday, and until 8PM on Thursday and one hour before the event or by calling 332-7372.
