Faribault Heritage Days is one of the highlights of summer, and the annual local festival runs June 15-19 with a plethora of offerings to keep the whole family entertained. The event opened Wednesday with Teen Night at the carnival, and the first clue in the infamous KDHL Medallion Hunt being released. The medallion was found after only two clues had been revealed.

On Friday, people had a chance to get to know their neighbors at the annual community lunch at Trinity Lutheran Church. Or car fans could listen to music by Power 96 while checking out the awesome rides lining Central Avenue during the car cruise.

Additionally there were historic tours, citywide garage sales, the Heritage Hustle 5K, a soap box derby and more. The Power 96 and KDHL team had a great time covering all of the events, and we are looking forward to next year’s Heritage Days!

The parade is always a huge draw, and this year’s beautiful weather ensured a great turnout for the parade.

Here are a few pictures from the Mayor's Reception.
