Holiday Happenings at Paradise Center for the Arts on AM Minnesota 11-23-2015

Paradise Center for the Arts Executive Director Carter Martin and Operations Manager Julie Fakler are scheduled to be on AM Minnesota today.

We will find out how the Holly Days Sale went. Remember, a limited portion of each artist's work remains in the gift shop through December 30.

In past years I've purchased art for family members and they seemed to enjoy the one-of-a-kind gifts.

They are particularly nice for people who have everything they need.

For example, we drew names for a number of years and my brother-in-law is an avid outdoorsman. I found a simple bird's feather cropped and in a frame and it's proudly displayed in their living room.

It's probably been there 15 years or better, so there's a gift that has given enjoyment for years.

KDHL and Power 96 sponsor the Gallery at the Paradise, and currently there is a member's exhibit in the Carlander Family Gallery. George Sierakowski is featured in the Lois Vranesh Boardroom Gallery through January 5.

The galleries are open from noon to 5PM Tuesday through Saturday, and until 8PM Thursdays.

Two holiday plays are featured December 4-13: Twice the Cheer this Year: The Best Christmas Pageant Ever and A Charlie Brown Christmas.
